Email [email protected]. That reaches me, Chiara Bellandi, and I answer most things within a few days. Corrections get the fastest reply I write, and they get made.
Things I can help with
- A fact on this site that is wrong, out of date or unclear. Tell me which page and what it says.
- Which listing suits your trip, if the reviews and the full list have not settled it between them.
- Something you found at the desk that contradicts what is written here — a closure, a language that was or was not available, a rule at the door. Those move, and I would rather hear it from you than work it out a season later.
- A question about the building itself. Seven years on a desk on this street is a lot of answered questions.
Things I cannot help with
I am an independent guide, not the gallery and not a tour operator. I cannot sell, reserve, hold or refund admission to the Galleria Doria Pamphilj; the gallery runs its own ticket office and that is set out on the tickets page. I cannot change, cancel or move a booking made elsewhere either — that goes through the platform you booked with, using the confirmation they sent you, or through the operator named on it.
I also cannot tell you what the gallery will be doing on one specific date. The weekly closure is Wednesday and three further days are closed each year, but single days move and the apartments off the standard route keep their own calendar. What is published about the hours carries the same warning. For anything that has to be certain — access needs above all — phone the gallery on +39 06 6797323 before you travel.
Before you write
Four questions arrive most weeks and all four already have pages. Is the audio guide included: yes, in four languages, while supplies last. Which day is it closed: Wednesday, not Monday. Can I take a rucksack in: no, and there is no cloakroom at all. Is this the park on the Gianicolo: no, that is a different place entirely.
